There are three files. The sample CSV opens in Excel. The sample PDF prints as it is. The blank paper PDF is the fallback: one line per guest, with numbering that carries on from the phone.
The sample book holds a full banquet with one number missing partway through. That gap is the kind of thing the settling check exists to catch.
The PDF summary shows the total collected, the number of envelopes and the number of tables, and lists any missing envelope numbers.
One number per envelope, on the packet and in the book
When it was received, filled by the app
Where the guest sits, blank if unknown
The name on the packet
Counted after opening
Cash, check or other
To make your own sheet, use the six headings the CSV has, in this order: No., Time, Table, Name, Amount, Payment. (The PDF prints Payment before Amount; the CSV does not.) Give each envelope one row and number the rows from the first envelope, so a gap in the numbers shows at a glance.
Each envelope gets one number, written both on the packet and in the book, so the two always match and a missing number points to a missing packet.
Enter the amount after opening the packet, as a whole number. The table can stay blank, and payment is cash, check or other.
To correct a row, change the name or the amount and leave the number alone.
Yes. Open the CSV directly; Chinese names display correctly.
Usually the relative or friend minding the desk. The app works the same way: the host hands the phone to whoever minds the table, and settles afterwards.
Yes. The app's reception desk and exports are a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
It is a fallback for when the phone plays up. It has one line per guest, and its numbering carries on from the phone. Type the rows back in after the night.

No. Everything stays on the phone, and you can export the book after the night.
